Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

As previously announced, Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (the “Company” or “Thermo Fisher”) will host a virtual Analyst Meeting today. The virtual format will feature presentations by members of Thermo Fisher's senior management team, including an update on business conditions, and conclude with a Q&A session. Among other topics, Stephen Williamson, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will provide the Company’s perspective on financial performance based on currently available information. This update will include expected third quarter organic revenue1 growth of 24%, compared to the original expected third quarter organic revenue growth of 15% that Thermo Fisher provided on July 22, 2020, when it announced its second quarter 2020 results. Additionally, Mr. Williamson will communicate that the Company’s initial estimate of fourth quarter organic revenue growth is a range of 13% to 27% and its full year 2020 organic revenue growth is expected to be in the range of 13% to 16%. Actual results could be different from these estimates or outside of these ranges given the greater-than-normal uncertainty that continues to exist in the marketplace. Additional information on these forward-looking estimates will be provided during the presentation.
