Terex Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release on October 17, 2006, announcing a conference call to be held on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 8:30 a.m., Eastern Time, to review the Company’s third quarter 2006 financial results. The teleconference and a replay of the teleconference will be accessible to the public.

The Company also announced that it will be releasing its third quarter 2006 financial results to the wire services on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, after the close of the market. This press release will also be available on the Company’s website at www.terex.com.
