Reference Rate Reform
In March 2020, the Financial Accounting Standards Board ("FASB") issued ASU No. 2020-04, Reference Rate Reform (Topic 848), and in December 2022 subsequently issued ASU 2022-06, to temporarily ease the potential burden in accounting for reference rate reform. The standard provides optional expedients and exceptions for applying generally accepted accounting principles to certain contract modifications, hedging relationships, and other transactions affected by the reference rate reform, which affects the London Inter-bank Offered Rate ("LIBOR"), if certain criteria are met. The guidance was effective upon issuance and can generally be applied through December 31, 2024. There has been no material impact to our financial condition, results of operations, or cash flows from reference rate reform as of June 30, 2023. See Note 7 for information on the replacement of LIBOR with the Secured Overnight Financing Rate ("SOFR") in our Credit Agreements.
