On August 21 2008, Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp announced that it has been awarded a $1.71 million delivery order from the U.S. Army for 100 T-47N test sets. This delivery order represents the remaining units on the IDIQ (indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity) contract awarded to the Company earlier this year.  The Company expects to deliver all 100 units in the current fiscal year.

Tel-Instrument (TIK) Announces $1.71 Million Army Order

CARLSTADT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp (AMEX:TIK) is pleased to announce that it has received a $1.71 million delivery order from the U.S. Army for 100 T-47N test sets. This delivery order represents the remaining units on the IDIQ (indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity) contract awarded to the Company earlier this year. The Company expects to deliver all 100 units in the current fiscal year.

Jeff O'Hara, the Company's President, said, "The T-47N remains the world’s premier military flight-line avionics test set. It provides IFF (Identification Friend & Foe), TACAN, TCAS, and EHS testing functionality in one rugged and easy to use product. This order, in conjunction with the pending deliveries of Tel’s next generation Mode 5 IFF test products, should continue the Company’s recent positive momentum from both a revenue and profitability standpoint."
