On February 1, 2005, eGames, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors had
approved the payment of a $0.015 cash dividend on February 22, 2005 to
shareholders of record on February 15, 2005. The press release announcing the
dividend is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

                    eGames Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend

Langhorne, Pa., - February 1, 2005 - eGames, Inc. (OTCBB: EGAM), a publisher of
Family Friendly(TM), affordable consumer entertainment PC software games, today
announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of
$0.015 per common share to be paid on February 22, 2005 to shareholders of
record on February 15, 2005.

The Company's Board of Directors has authorized the payment of a quarterly cash
dividend of $0.015 per common share, in lieu of pursuing the Company's
previously announced stock repurchase program. It is the Company's intention to
continue paying a comparable quarterly cash dividend to shareholders of its
common stock. However, the payment of any further cash dividends depends
entirely upon the discretion of the Company's Board of Directors and may be
discontinued at any time, for any reason.
