     (e) Levi Strauss & Co. awarded its Vice President, Controller and Interim Chief Financial Officer, Heidi L. Manes, an incremental Annual Incentive Award payment in the amount of $43,575 in connection with the performance of her services during the 2008 fiscal year. This award was determined on February 10, 2009 after the filing of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K and is in addition to other award payments already made to Ms. Manes under the Company’s Annual Incentive Plan in connection with the 2008 fiscal year.
