Collateral dependent impaired loans valuation description Collateral dependent impaired loans are valued based on a recent broker price opinion generally discounted by 10% plus estimated selling costs. In the absence of a broker price opinion, collateral dependent impaired loans are valued at the lower of last appraisal value or the current real estate tax value discounted by 20% to 50%, depending on internal judgments on the condition of the property, plus estimated selling costs.
