On February 8, 2010, the Registrant issued the attached news release entitled “Vitran Reports 2009 Year-End and Fourth Quarter Operating Results” announcing its year-end and fourth quarter 2009 results.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1, and incorporated herein by reference.
