P-COM RENEWS CREDIT FACILITY WITH

SILICON VALLEY BANK

CAMPBELL, CA (Sept. xx23, 2004) - P-Com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PCMC), a worldwide provider of broadband wireless access products and services to carriers, commercial enterprises and government agencies, today announced that Silicon Valley Bank has renewed its credit facility for an additional year. The credit facility for working capital purposes allows for borrowings of up to $4.0 million.

P-Com entered into a 364-day credit facility with Silicon Valley Bank (NASDAQ:SIVB) in September 2002, and it has been renewed for the past two years. P-Com’s tangible and intangible assets secure borrowings under the facility.

"The renewal of our line of credit with Silicon Valley Bank provides the company with additional liquidity, and gives us greater flexibility to pursue opportunities in the marketplace as we aggressively focus on developing and marketing our products," said P-Com Acting CFO Daniel Rumsey. This renewal is the latest significant step that P-com has taken to strengthen its balance sheet. During the past two years, P-Com has executed a comprehensive financial restructuring that has eliminated a substantial portion of its short-term debt and all of its long-term debt, significantly reduced expenses, and disposed of certain non-performing assets and business units.
