(b) On May 21, 2008, H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler announced his retirement from Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (the “Company”). Mr. Wheeler is retiring from the Company, and resigning as a director, and as Chief Operating Officer and President of the Company and from all other positions with the Company’s subsidiaries, effective May 28, 2008. Mr. Wheeler has agreed to act as a consultant to the Company for a period of five (5) years.
