Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On and effective as of August 7, 2018, Fred A. de Boom, Joseph E. Davis and James F. Sanders (collectively, the “Resigning Directors”) resigned from the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Acacia Research Corporation (the “Company”). None of the Resigning Directors have advised the Company of any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
