Subsequent Events	Subsequent Events On April 10, 2013, Polaris acquired A.M. Holding S.A.S, which operates under the name Aixam Mega S.A.S. ("Aixam"), a previously privately owned company based in France that manufactures and sells enclosed on-road quadricycles and light duty commercial vehicles. The acquisition was funded with cash on hand. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Polaris' SV portfolio and enhance the profitability and growth potential of Polaris in Europe. Aixam had sales of approximately $110 million in calendar year 2012. Due to the proximity of the date of the acquisition to the issuance of the first quarter 2013 financial statements, Polaris has not yet completed the initial accounting for the business combination.
