Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure

Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company ("BHE"), the parent of MidAmerican Funding, LLC ("MidAmerican Funding") and its indirect subsidiary MidAmerican Energy Company ("MidAmerican Energy"), will host a fixed-income investor conference on April 1, 2015 in New York, New York. BHE is furnishing the presentation, titled "2015 Fixed-Income Investor Conference," in a Form 8-K filing today. MidAmerican Funding and MidAmerican Energy are furnishing the same presentation as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K as it, in part, includes information about MidAmerican Funding and MidAmerican Energy. BHE is also making the presentation available free of charge, from March 31, 2015 through April 7, 2015, in the Financial Filings section of its internet website at http://www.berkshirehathawayenergyco.com. Any information available on or through BHE's website is not part of this Form 8-K and BHE's web address is included as an inactive textual reference only.
