Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 17, 2017, FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (FelCor) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a prorated dividend of $0.04 per share of common stock in anticipation of the pending merger with RLJ Lodging Trust, which is expected to close on or about August 31, 2017, payable on August 30, 2017 to all holders of record at the close of business on August 28, 2017.
The per share dividend amount payable by FelCor will be equal to FelCors most recent quarterly per share dividend ($0.06), multiplied by the number of days elapsed since the first day of the current dividend period (July 1, 2017) through and including August 30, 2017, divided by the actual number of days in the calendar quarter in which such dividend is declared (92).

IRVING, Texas August 17, 2017 FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (FelCor) (NYSE: FCH) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a prorated dividend of $0.04 per share of common stock in anticipation of the pending merger with RLJ Lodging Trust, which is expected to close on or about August 31, 2017, payable on August 30, 2017 to all holders of record at the close of business on August 28, 2017.
