BASIS OF PRESENTATION	NOTE 1 – BASIS OF PRESENTATION OVERVIEW The Singing Machine Company, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company,” “SMC”, “The Singing Machine”), and wholly-owned subsidiaries SMC (Comercial Offshore De Macau) Limitada (“Macau Subsidiary”), SMC Logistics, Inc. (“SMCL”), SMC-Music, Inc. (“SMCM”) and SMC (HK) Limited (“SMH”), are primarily engaged in the development, marketing, and sale of consumer karaoke audio equipment, accessories and musical recordings. The products are sold directly to distributors and retail customers.

The entire disclosure for the basis of accounting, or basis of presentation, used to prepare the financial statements (for example, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting, IFRS).
