Flushing Financial Corporation, the parent holding company for Flushing Savings Bank, FSB, announced that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend on its common stock of $0.13 per common share, payable on September 30, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 9, 2011. LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Aug. 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Flushing Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:FFIC), the parent holding company for Flushing Savings Bank, FSB (the "Bank"), today announced that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend on its common stock of $0.13 per common share, payable on September 30, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 9, 2011.
John R. Buran, Flushing Financial's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated: "Our strong capital position, as well as our confidence in the opportunities for future growth, underlie the Company's decision to declare quarterly cash dividend payouts to shareholders.
