ITG RELEASES MAY 2010 US TRADING VOLUMES

 

NEW YORK, June 8, 2010 — Investment Technology Group, Inc. (NYSE: ITG), a leading agency broker and financial technology firm, today announced that May 2010 US trading volume was 4.0 billion shares and average daily volume (ADV) was 199 million shares.  This compares to 3.5 billion shares and ADV of 165 million shares in April 2010 and 4.2 billion shares and ADV of 208 million shares in May 2009.

 

There were 20 trading days in both May 2010 and May 2009 and 21 trading days in April 2010.
