ITG RELEASES APRIL 2010 US TRADING VOLUMES

NEW YORK, May 10, 2010 — Investment Technology Group, Inc. (NYSE: ITG), a leading agency broker and financial technology firm, today announced that April 2010 US trading volume was 3.5 billion shares and average daily volume (ADV) was 165 million shares. This compares to 3.4 billion shares and ADV of 146 million shares in March 2010 and 4.1 billion shares and ADV of 197 million shares in April 2009.

There were 21 trading days in both April 2010 and April 2009 and 23 trading days in March 2010.
