REPTRON ELECTRONICS, INC. ANNOUNCES

EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE FORM 10-Q

 

Tampa, Florida, May 17, 2004—Reptron Electronics, Inc. (OTCBB: RPRN), an electronics manufacturing services company, today reported that it will file Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission requesting a five-day extension to file its first quarter 2004 Form 10-Q. Due to the emergence from bankruptcy and the implementation of fresh start accounting, the Company requires additional time to complete its financial statements. The Company expects that the Form 10-Q will be filed no later than May 24, 2004.
