ITEM 8.01 Other Events

             On June 1, 2007, Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company"), the parent corporation of Southern Missouri Bank and Trust Co., completed its program to repurchase approximately 5% of its outstanding common shares. Through this program, which was originally announced on April 21, 2004, the Company repurchased 115,000 shares at an average cost of $15.14 per share.
