SILICOM ANNOUNCES NASDAQ TICKER SYMBOL
CHANGE TO “SILC”

        KFAR SAVA, Israel – January 3, 2006 – Silicom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SILC; SILCF) announced today that the ticker symbol on Nasdaq for the Company’s ordinary shares will be changed from SILCF to SILC effective today at the opening of trade. As such, the Company’s shares will commence trading under the new SILC ticker symbol today, Tuesday, January 3^rd, at 9:30 AM.
