Cost of revenue decreased from $2,746,000 in 1999 to --------------------------------------------------------------------------- $1,356,000 in 2000 primarily due to a reduction by attrition related to --------------------------------------------------------------------------- year 2000 staff, a reduction in the use of contractors, the end of fees to --------------------------------------------------------------------------- year 2000 distributors, and strict cost control. Operating expenses --------------------------------------------------------------------------- increased from $2,892,000 in 1999 to $3,774,000 in 2000, however, $954,000 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- of the increase was the charge for issuing stock warrants.
