Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On May 5, 2010, Health Net Federal Services, LLC ("HNFS"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Health Net, Inc., issued a press release announcing that the Department of Defense ("DoD") notified it today that the DoD intends to award HNFS the new Managed Care Support Contract for the TRICARE North Region, known as "T3". HNFS is currently the managed care contractor for the TRICARE North Region. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
