Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure

From time to time during the first two weeks of April 2006, David W. Olson, Investor Relations Officer of Health Net, Inc. (the “Company”) will be meeting with investors and analysts. During those meetings, the Company intends to address its prospects and historical performance and will reaffirm the Company’s earnings guidance for the full year 2006 of fully diluted earnings per share between $2.90 and $3.10. The Company will also address its expectations concerning commercial, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, the outlook for commercial premiums and health care costs and performance of its Government contracts segment. The Company will reaffirm prior guidance on each of these items as disclosed during its fourth quarter 2005 earnings conference call and during its annual investor day in November 2005.
