On July 12, 2012, Albemarle Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release indicating that its Board of Directors had declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share, payable on October 1, 2012 to shareholders of record as of September 15, 2012. As September 15, 2012 falls on a Saturday, the effective record date for the dividend will be the close of business on Friday, September 14, 2012.
