TRUST AGREEMENTS A subsidiary of the Company, Everest Re, has established a trust agreement, which effectively uses Everest Re's investments as collateral, as security for assumed losses payable to a non-affiliated ceding company. At March 31, 2012, the total amount on deposit in the trust account was $136,375 thousand.
