OFFICER  REGARDING  FACTS  AND  CIRCUMSTANCES  RELATING  TO EXCHANGE ACT FILINGS

     (1)  To the  best of my  knowledge,  based  upon a  review  of the  covered
          reports of  Everest Re Group,  Ltd.  and its  wholly-owned  subsidiary
          Everest  Reinsurance  Holdings,  Inc.,  and,  except as  corrected  or
