Plantronics Declares Quarterly Dividend

Santa Cruz, CA - July 19, 2005 - Plantronics, Inc., (NYSE: PLT) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share. The dividend is payable on September 9, 2005 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 12, 2005. This is the fifth consecutive quarterly dividend the Company's board has declared.

 “We are pleased to announce that our continued strong cash generation gives us the ability to pay a dividend as a way to deliver value to our shareholders,” said Ken Kannappan, President and Chief Executive Officer.
