INCOME TAXES	INCOME TAXES Our effective tax rate was 34% and 30% for the three months ended July 31, 2011 and August 1, 2010, respectively. The variation in the effective tax rate during these periods was due primarily to the mix of foreign earnings, which have lower effective tax rates, and domestic earnings in fiscal 2012 compared to fiscal 2011.

Disclosures may include net deferred tax liability or asset recognized in an enterprise's statement of financial position, net change during the year in the total valuation allowance, approximate tax effect of each type of temporary difference and carryforward that gives rise to a significant portion of deferred tax liabilities and deferred tax assets, utilization of a tax carryback, and tax uncertainties information.
