On February 21, 2008, the Board of Directors of Belden Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Judy Brown to the Board and to its Audit Committee. Since July 2006, Ms. Brown, 39, has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer of Perrigo Company (“Perrigo”). Ms. Brown joined Perrigo in September 2004 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. Perrigo is a leading global healthcare supplier that develops, manufactures and distributes over-the-counter and prescription pharmaceuticals, nutritional products, active pharmaceutical ingredients and consumer products. The company is the world’s largest manufacturer of over-the-counter pharmaceuticals for the store brand market. Before joining Perrigo, Ms. Brown held various senior positions in finance and operations at Whirlpool Corporation (1998 to August 2004) in Italy and the US and at Ernst & Young (1990-1998) in both the US and Germany.
