Section 8 Other events
Item 8.01 Other events.
     On June 23, 2006, the Company entered into a transaction to purchase substantially all of the broadcast assets of WNYQ-FM, serving the Albany, New York market from Vox New York, LLC, for $4.9 million in cash. Regent has placed $490,000 in escrow to secure its obligation under the asset purchase agreement. The completion of the transaction is subject to routine regulatory approvals, and the Company expects to consummate the purchase during the second half of 2006.
