TRIQUINT EMPLOYEE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question
Answer
Will there be a Quality Director in either of the Operations teams?
No, there will not be a separate Quality Director in the Fab technology or the Assembly/test technology functions. We have made a decision that Quality will be a centralized function directly reporting to the CEO of NewCo.
I noticed in the graphic included in the last Compass newsletter titled "Preparing for NewCo: Creating a culture of success", there are no 'desired values' listed for RFMD. Why is that the case?
In the graphic, the column “desired values” does not capture values identified by employees as already part of the current company culture. The graphic depicts that there are several values that RFMD employees want in NewCo, and many of these were recognized by RFMD employees as part of the current RFMD culture. These include 13 values (customer focus, continuous improvement, being competitive, innovation, respect for people, excellence, being collaborative, fulfilling work, accountability, trust, efficiency, accountability, and being passionate) that employees want to preserve from the current values in RFMD.
When can we expect to receive the rest of the options / RSUs indicated in our reviews? Will this be delayed this year due to the merger?
If TriQuint stockholders approve the amended TriQuint 2013 Incentive Plan at the upcoming special meeting of stockholders on September 5, 2014, the 2nd tranche of TriQuint shares are scheduled to be granted on the next trading date after the meeting, which would be September 8, 2014. The stockholders meeting usually occurs in May, but was delayed until September this year because of the merger.

Please see TriQuint Proposal No. 5 in TriQuint’s definitive proxy statement related to the special meeting.
How can we access RFMD’s most recent quarterly financial results?
Please click here for RFMD’s financial results for its fiscal 2015 first quarter ended June 28, 2014.
Will we lose our previously accrued vacation and sick leave after closing of the merger? Can these be paid out or will we have to use up the entire leave?
You will not lose your previously accrued leave after closing of the merger. We are still in the process of deciding whether this will be paid out or simply carried forward, but expect to communicate a final decision on this and the overall PTO / sabbatical policy for NewCo before Day One.
