INTRODUCTION

This Rule 13e-3 Transaction Statement on Schedule 13E-3 (this “Schedule 13E-3”) is being filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) pursuant to Section 13(e) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”) by (1) Aviva Petroleum Inc. (the “Company”), (2) Robert J. Cresci and (3) Ronald Suttill.
