Astoria Financial Corporation to Present at KBW Regional Bank Conference

          LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Astoria Financial Corporation (NYSE: AF), announced that it will participate in the 2007 Regional Bank Conference sponsored by Keefe Bruyette & Woods (“KBW”) in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.  Monte N. Redman, Astoria’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will be presenting at the conference at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
