On June 19, 2008, Astoria Financial Corporation (the “Corporation”) issued a press release stating that, on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at approximately 5:00 p.m. (ET), the Corporation is expected to release its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, and will host an earnings conference call on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (ET).
