Note 1 Basis of Presentation

In the opinion of management, the accompanying unaudited consolidated condensed financial statements of Badger Meter contain all adjustments (consisting only of normal recurring accruals except as otherwise discussed) necessary to present fairly the Company's consolidated condensed financial position at June 30, 2023 and December 31, 2022, results of operations, comprehensive income, and statements of shareholders’ equity for the three and six-month periods ended June 30, 2023 and 2022, and cash flows for the six-month period ended June 30, 2023 and 2022. The results of operations for any interim period are not necessarily indicative of the results to be expected for the full year.

The preparation of financial statements in conformity with United States generally accepted accounting principles requires management to make estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported in the financial statements and accompanying notes. Actual results could differ from those estimates.
