On October 1, 2009, Rural Metro Corporation (the “Company”) announced that its 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held at 11:00 a.m. (local time), Thursday, December 10, 2009. The meeting will be located at the Company’s corporate offices, 9221 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, Arizona.
