Explanation of Responses:

1. The Trustee of the applicable trust has been changed. Due to an administrative error, an incorrect transaction code was used to report this transaction by the Reporting Person as Trustee of the Trust for the benefit of the Estate of Alfred M. Rankin in the Form 4 filed on August 15, 2023. This amendment also corrects the holding total for the number of shares beneficially owned by the Reporting Person as Trustee of the Trust for the benefit of the Estate of Alfred M. Rankin in the Form 4 filed on August 15, 2023.

2. Reporting Person disclaims beneficial ownership of all such shares.

3. The Trustee of the applicable trust has been changed. Due to an administrative error, an incorrect transaction code was used to report this transaction by the Reporting Person as Trustee of Trusts for the benefit of each of grantor's grandchildren in the Form 4 filed on August 15, 2023.

5. Due to an administrative error, the Reporting Person reported a J code transaction for the distribution of 18,861 Class B shares beneficially owned by the Reporting Person as the Trustee for a Trust fbo of Helen R. Butler. No such transaction occurred.

6. Due to an administrative error, the Reporting Person reported a J code transaction for the distribution of 18,861 Class B shares beneficially owned by the Reporting Person as the Trustee for a Trust fbo of Clara R. Williams. No such transaction occurred.

7. Pro rata distribution of Class B shares from Rankin Associates II, L.P. ("RA II") in the amount of 3,950 Class B shares. The Reporting Person is a shareholder of Rankin Management Inc., which is a general partner of RA II. Due to an administrative error, this transaction was omitted from the Reporting Person's Form 4 filed on August 15, 2023.
