State below in reasonable detail why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-CEN, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.
SIFCO Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) has experienced a delay in completing the financial statements to be included in its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2019, as a result of the Company assessing a complex accounting matter. The Company requires additional time in order to meet its financial reporting and disclosure obligations for the quarter ended June 30, 2019.
Accordingly, the Company is not able to complete the preparation, review and filing of its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense.
The Company expects to be able to complete the work necessary to file its Form 10-Q for quarter ended June 30, 2019 within the five day extension period provided by Rule 12b-25.
