PERRY ELLIS INTERNATIONAL TO WEBCAST ANNUAL SHAREHOLDER MEETING RAISES FISCAL 2016 SECOND QUARTER GUIDANCE
(MIAMI, FL July 9, 2015) (GLOBENEWSWIRE) Perry Ellis International, Inc. (Nasdaq:PERY) will webcast its Annual Shareholder Meeting to the general public on Friday, July 17, 2015, beginning at 11:00 AM ET. The webcast can be accessed live via the Investor Relations section of the Perry Ellis International website at http://www.pery.com. An archive of the webcast will be available for two weeks following the live event.
In conjunction with the announcement of its shareholder meeting, the Company is raising its adjusted earnings guidance for the second quarter of fiscal 2016, ending August 1 2015 to breakeven. This guidance represents the better end of the Companys initial expectations for the second quarter of fiscal 2016, which was an adjusted loss per share in the range of $0.03 to breakeven. The Company reported an adjusted loss per share of $0.08 in the fiscal 2015 second quarter.
