8. Inventories

Inventories consist of the following:

As a result of the voluntary recall more fully described in Note

3,

the Company recorded an inventory reserve of

million for non-saleable inventory. In addition, the Company recorded an inventory reserve of

$1.7

million for certain HA raw materials, and it recorded a lower of cost or market adjustment of

$1.2

million for certain HYAFF-based products during the

six

June 30, 2018.
