Patrick Dee, President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of First State Bancorporation (the "Company") tendered his resignation effective immediately in connection with the closure of the Company's only significant subsidiary First Community Bank by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation effective at the close of business on the same date.
