Financial Instruments Not Recorded at Fair Value

The carrying amounts of the Company’s other financial assets and liabilities including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accrued liabilities approximate their respective fair values because of the relatively short period of time between their origination and their expected realization or settlement. As of March 31, 2017, the net carrying amount of the Notes was $103.0 million, and the fair value of the Notes was approximately $88.7 million based on open market trading activity, which constitutes a Level 1 input in the fair value hierarchy.
