TRANSACTIONS WITH RELATED PARTIES In the second quarter of 2012, the Company entered into an agreement to sell its interest in a consolidated joint venture in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, to its joint venture partner (Note 12). In the first quarter of 2012, the Company’s consolidated joint venture in Russia sold its investment in the Yaroslavl Project. In connection with the sale, an affiliate of the Company’s joint venture partner entered into certain leasing and management agreements with the buyer of the land and will receive fees for its services. Transactions with the Company’s equity affiliates are described in Note 2.

14. TRANSACTIONS WITH RELATED PARTIES

In the second quarter of 2012, the Company entered into an agreement to sell its interest in a consolidated joint venture in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, to its joint venture partner (Note 12).

In the first quarter of 2012, the Company’s consolidated joint venture in Russia sold its investment in the Yaroslavl Project. In connection with the sale, an affiliate of the Company’s joint venture partner entered into certain leasing and management agreements with the buyer of the land and will receive fees for its services.
