On June 4, 2007, Credence Systems Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s earnings for the fiscal quarter ended May 5, 2007. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.
