On August 22, 2013 Patterson Companies, Inc. announced a plan to divest certain non-core product lines in its medical segment (“Medical Restructuring”). The results for the second quarter of fiscal 2014 include charges of $6,650, including non-cash losses on the sale of assets of $5,114, the majority of which was goodwill.
