Item 8.01	Other Events.
	On July 17, 2019, the Company’s Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share on the Company's common stock.  The dividend is payable on September 5, 2019 to the stockholders of record on August 23, 2019.  A copy of the press release announcing the dividend declaration is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.

NEW YORK, July 17, 2019 – Minerals Technologies Inc. (NYSE: MTX) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share on the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on September 5, 2019 to stockholders of record on August 23, 2019.
