Accounts receivable, net, consists of the following at March 31, 2023 and December 31, 2022 (in thousands):

Accounts receivable trade represents amounts due from customers. Accounts receivable trade are recorded at invoiced amounts, net of reserves and allowances and do not bear interest. 

Bad debt expense was $881.7 thousand for the three months ended March 31, 2023 and bad debt recovery was $22.1 thousand for the same period of 2022, for continued operations.
