Research and Development Costs	6. Research and Development Costs Research and development costs related to software development totaled $3.5 million and $7.5 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013, respectively, and $5.1 million and $11.9 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012, respectively. Research and development costs are included in “Selling, general and administrative expense” on the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income (Loss).

6. Research and Development Costs

Research and development costs related to software development totaled $3.5 million and $7.5 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013, respectively, and $5.1 million and $11.9 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012, respectively. Research and development costs are included in “Selling, general and administrative expense” on the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income (Loss).
