          In a press release dated August 28, 2006, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated announced that it opened its 108^th Cheesecake Factory restaurant on August 24, 2006 at the Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, Ohio.  The restaurant contains approximately 9,400 square feet and approximately 300 seats.

          The full text of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.

          Calabasas Hills, CA – August 28, 2006 – The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (Nasdaq: CAKE) today announced the opening of its 108^th Cheesecake Factory restaurant at the Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, Ohio on August 24, 2006.  The restaurant contains approximately 9,400 square feet and 300 seats.
